About Pharid Jaffer:

Pharid has held several global and leadership roles in financial services and retail throughout his career, in Toronto and Vancouver. This includes organizations such as Canaccord and HSBC. He is a strong believer that innovation thrives on the west coast of Canada and the U.S., and so is a big supporter in growing the FinTech expertise here. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and is active in the local community, from board roles at not-for-profits to mentoring eMBA students at SFU Beedie School of Business.
