Collected Information 

When you use the PII Data Redaction Agent, we may collect: 

  • Your email address 
  • Document metadata (such as file name, size, and type) 
  • Interaction data related to redaction requests and actions 

The contents of uploaded documents are processed temporarily and securely for redaction purposes only. 

We do not retain, view, or store any redacted document contents beyond the session duration. 

We do not collect or store any sensitive personal information outside of what is required for redaction processing. 

How We Use Information: 

We use collected data to:

  • Identify and redact personally identifiable information (PII) within uploaded content 
  • Provide redaction results and maintain operational accuracy 
  • Improve the functionality and reliability of the Redaction Agent 

Data Storage and Access 

All data is processed and stored within the Optimus’ Microsoft 365 tenant. Optimus Information Inc. does not retain or transfer document data outside the customer’s environment. 

Data Sharing 

We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal information or document contents with third parties. 

Cookies and Analytics 

We may use cookies or similar technologies to anonymously track feature usage and improve the overall user experience. 

No personal or document content data is collected through these analytics tools. 

Your Rights 

In accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to: 

  • Request access to your personal information 
  • Request corrections to your personal information 
  • Withdraw consent at any time
