These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Certifi, an AI-powered certification assistant developed by Optimus, accessible via Microsoft Teams and Copilot web. By using Certifi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Certifi.
- Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Certifi, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Certifi on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
- Description of Service
Certifi is an AI-powered assistant designed to help users prepare for Microsoft Azure certifications. It offers:
- Concept explanations and deep dives
- Practice tests and guidance
- Certification progress tracking
- Support for scheduling exams via integration with Microsoft Learn
Certifi is provided via Microsoft Teams and Copilot web and may evolve over time as we add, remove, or improve features.
- License and Access
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Optimus grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use Certifi for internal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use Certifi in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of Certifi without prior written permission from Optimus
- User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- All activity that occurs through your use of Certifi
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
- Using Certifi only for its intended purpose (certification preparation)
- Ensuring your use complies with your organization’s IT and data policies
Use of Certifi is subject to Microsoft’s terms of use for Teams and Copilot.
- Privacy
Your use of Certifi is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Certifi may collect limited personal data such as your email address, Object ID from Microsoft Learn, certification progress, and interaction data. All data remains within your Microsoft 365 environment and is governed by your organization’s existing security policies. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
- Intellectual Property
Certifi, including its content, structure, interface, and underlying technology, is the property of Optimus and is protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by Optimus.
You may not use any branding, logos, or other trademarks belonging to Optimus without express written permission.
- Feedback
If you submit feedback, ideas, or suggestions regarding Certifi, you grant Optimus a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
- Termination
Optimus reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to Certifi at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the service, or created risk for other users or systems. Upon termination, your right to use Certifi will cease immediately.
- Disclaimer of Warranties
Certifi is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we aim to offer accurate, helpful certification support, we do not warrant that Certifi will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will guarantee any certification outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
- Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Optimus will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, business, or profits arising out of your use or inability to use Certifi.
Our total liability for any claim relating to these Terms or your use of Certifi shall not exceed the amount paid (if any) for access to the service.
- Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If changes are significant, we will notify you via Microsoft Teams or email. Continued use of Certifi after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
